Over the last two years, a group of Horden residents and local agencies have been working with St Mary's Church and St Mary's Community Hall Management Committee on plans to save and regenerate St Mary's Community Hall in Horden.
In consultation with the community, we've come up with a £500,000 project which will turn the Hall into a centre for regeneration - a place where residents and service providers can shape the future of surrounding streets and neighbourhoods.
New rooms, zoned heating, internet cafe, fitness suite, improved access and modern facilities will ensure the Hall has a sustainable future while keeping the best of its character and history.
